With our creative touch, your video will capture your audience from beginning to end. 1. First, think about who the video is for or whose story you’d like to tell. What mood do you want to set? How do you want the audience to feel?
2. Decide on how long you want the video. Keep in mind that 10-12 photos will run for about a minute. Be sure to consider who your audience is when determining the length of your video.
3. Choose which photos you’d like to use. Try to select photos that are high in quality, where the subjects are centered and in focus.
4. Group your materials chronologically or by theme. Examples: childhood, college, marriage, family, children, friends, work, special events, etc.
5. Organize your photos in the order you’d like them presented, numbering each on the back with a post-it. Be sure to also note the start of each category.
6. Background music sets the pacing of the video. Try to envision what songs will match the mood of each group of pictures. Specify which songs to use during which images.
7. Decide what your opening and closing titles will say as well as any other additional titles.
8. For video clips, cue the tape 5 seconds before the starting point and include a written description of the content, the length, and when it stops. Also indicate if you want music over the clip or natural sound. ** Customer provides music on CD or can request music genres and we will select the music from our library.
